Improv Workshops Every Sunday at 8pm

The Fort Collins Improv group is for people who are interested in learning more about Improv – come join us! We get together to be spontaneous! Every level is welcome; we love to have fun and to laugh together. Everybody participates and everybody has fun – no one feels left out or embarrassed!

We go through a wide variety of games, scenarios, and skits to build up our expertise in spontaneous, improvisational thinking, acting, singing, talking, speaking, falling, laughing, and juggling geese.

Art Lab and the greater Fort Collins art community received national attention in the December/January edition of American Craft Magazine.

“Hand in hand: Fort Collins, Colorado” walks readers through Fort Collins’ varied and lively art scene, from Old Town to the Warehouse District.

“Nestled between the Rocky Mountains and the Great Plains, Fort Collins, Colorado is a small city bursting with creative talent,” writes author Molly McCowan.

As it guides readers through downtown, the article stops to highlight Art Lab, a place for “anyone with a creative idea who needs a space to make it happen.” With events ranging from performances to classes to exhibitions, Art Lab helps bring local artists to the community.

The article also introduces readers to local creative spaces such as The Downtown Artery, Trimble Court Artisans, Wadoo, Smokestack Pottery and Wolverine Farm Letterpress and Publick House.

American Craft Magazine is a bimonthly publication with more than 96,000 readers across the country. The magazine is produced by the American Craft Council who, for more than 75 years, has worked to support craft and professional makers through nonprofit shows, educational resources and annual craft shows.

Art Lab Fort Collins won the 2016 Spirit of Downtown Award!

With this annual award, the Downtown Fort Collins Business Association recognizes organizations that strengthened Downtown Fort Collins by making significant contributions and a positive impact on the community.

Since 2008, Art Lab has enjoyed a rewarding relationship, living and creating with the downtown community. Our space has provided a home for incredible art of all kinds. By offering the space free of charge and not taking commission, we have been able to remove some of the financial barriers facing up and coming artists. Art Lab’s proudest success stories are artists who first shared their art with the public at Art Lab.

As we roll into 2017 we look forward to finding new ways to share art with the community. We are excited to launch our Pop Up Art Carts rally in Old Town Square this spring, bringing amazing artists and their work out to you.

Thank you for sharing your talents and passions with us Downtown Fort Collins!
