Quick? \nLike to laugh? \nIf any of those sound like you\, come do some improv comedy with us! Improve your skills in communication\, personal/professional development\, public speaking\, quick thinking\, comedy\, and so much more! \nCome build soft skills with hard laughs. \nFAQ. \n— What can I expect from attending a session? —\nThese beginner-friendly workshops will be 90-120 minute workshops consisting of short exercises\, warm-ups\, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” type-of games\, and potentially some long-form (a la UCB\, Second City\, etc.). We’ll go get a drink or meal afterwards! \n— Who’s Gus? —\nHello\, I’m Gus! I’ve taught improv for over 9 years. I used to run a 350+ improv community out in Morrisville\, North Carolina. I’ve taught thousands of students and perform locally in Fort Collins with my troupe\, Scam Likely. I also run improv workshops for professional skills\, such as public speaking\, social cohesion\, and organic communication. \n— What if I’m not quick on my feet? —\nYou don’t have to be. Mistakes become opportunities. The bolder the choice\, the better. You will be celebrated for not being quick on your feet. \n— I’m scared. —\nGive it one class. Anything worth doing is initially scary. I like to say “You’ve already done the hardest part: fighting traffic to get here. It’s my responsibility as an instructor to make sure the rest of the night goes smoothly for you.” \n— I don’t want to perform publicly. —\nThis will not be a public performance.
