DESCRIPTION:The event will include light snacks and beverages. The event will start at 6:00 and end at 9:00. The event will include 11 hanging paintings all in the abstract style. Each painting will be accompanied with a small paragraph explaining its significance and price. The artist will be available to answer questions. The event will also include a 60 page “sketchbook” filled with similar abstract paintings. The artist Michelle Hargrove will bring a small easel and necessary paints and be painting live on loose water color paper. Invites can be found at @michhargroveart

From painting and poetry to fiber arts\, ceramics\, and live music\, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. \nYou’ll have the chance to explore the artwork\, watch live demonstrations\, and even get hands-on with creative activities sprinkled throughout the gallery. On Friday\, September 27\, the show kicks off from 6 PM to 9 PM with live music from Russick Smith from 7 to 9 PM. The fun continues on Saturday\, September 28\, from 2 PM to 9 PM\, featuring a free poetry workshop from 2 to 3 PM and a lively open mic from 7 to 8 PM. \nThroughout the weekend\, you can catch artist Joey Miranda spinning clay on the pottery wheel\, Theo Altmaier weaving fiber art\, and many more artists painting live. There will also be tarot readings by Luna See Light\, and a pop-up poetry café. \nBe sure to check out the debut of our “Community Canvases”—collaborative pieces created by local organizations like The Matthews House and SAVA. These canvases will be displayed as part of the exhibit\, and some will be available for purchase to benefit these amazing groups. \nPeople of all ages are welcome to dive into a weekend of creativity\, community\, and self-expression. With plenty of chances to paint\, sculpt\, write\, and sketch\, it’s a great opportunity to let your imagination run wild.
