Cry Because It’s Over
June 7 @ 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
This is a collaborative, multimedia visual arts exhibition about loss and loneliness. We are hoping to use the space for the day to include set up and the open house. The event would be free and wouldn’t require tickets. The subject matter is something everyone has experienced, especially during the early phases of COVID, and now that it’s slowly becoming easier to interact with other people again our exhibition is intended to allow people to feel the emotions that come with losing something important, and then understand how feeling those emotions helps you recognize what made that person or thing so important to you; in short, you have to experience the sadness of loss and loneliness to full appreciate the happiness you have in your memories of what’s missing. We are planning to do local marketing around the Fort Collins area to inform people of the event as well.
