Over the past four years I have worked through Colorado State’s drawing program, integrating other processes and ideas into my core drawing practice. This show is a culmination of my experience and learning, while by no means the final chapter of my artistic career, a sort of conclusion to this stage. I invite you to observe, critique, and explore my recent work that constitutes the capstone of my degree. I’ll be showing work made within the past year, drawings that strive to capture truth, emotion, and occult ideas for the sake of understanding ourselves and the world around us. My work is a combination of media, aesthetics, techniques, and is constantly changing; this show will be a moment to reflect on that seemingly perpetual evolution.
