Interested in using Art Lab?

Availability is first come, first served.

You can check the online calendar for open dates. Once you find an available date, please email us at [email protected], give us a call at (970) 372-2316 or fill out the form below to share your idea.

We’ll ask you to send more info on the type of event or exhibition you’d like to host in the space, and we can determine if Art Lab is a good fit. Once we’ve settled on a date and terms of usage we require a commitment via contract, which can be completed here.

There is no set fee for using Art Lab, we accept contributions to help cover the cost of keeping the doors open. We ask all participants to leave the space better than they find it, contribute basic supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) and make a contribution of time or money if possible.

Visual Artists

First Fridays are coveted times for visual artists to show at Art Lab. The first Friday art scene is strong in Old Town. If the weather is nice, you can expect a good crowd of art lovers, whether or not you draw your own. Ideally, we like First Friday artist to keep their show up and be in the space for some open gallery hours on the the weekend. Weekends are hopping in Old Town, so you’ll be able to reach a different audience. You’re also welcome to book First Friday weekend and the following weekend if it’s available. The day before first Friday will be reserved for your setup time. If you need more time, let us know and we’ll try to accommodate.

Visual artists are also welcome to book any other day of the month. You won’t have the kind of walk-in traffic you’d get on First Friday, but if you promote the show and make it a destination event for your audience, you can have a great show.

General Events & Workshops

Theatre, improv, poetry slams, storytelling, bike art, kid’s art, sound art, non-profit events, art classes, workshops, you name it — we’ve hosted all kinds of creative excursions at Art Lab. We love it! The more creative the better. We have a built-in crowd for visual artists on First Fridays, so we ask that you not book those days unless you have a visual art component. Any other day of the month is fine.

Music Events

We love the Fort Collins music scene. However, we’re not the best fit for a lot of live music. Please read our music terms of use for the deets.
