“The Body is Red” is a solo exhibition by local artist Grace Kennison which features a small collection of recent work beginning in 2019. Grace’s work conceptually wrestles with real or imagined notions of girlhood, the pillars of the heteropatriarchy, and identity. The show intends to mock the shortcomings white feminism as well as provoke dialogue about women’s experiences.
