A conceptual pop-art installation acknowledges a story of renewal and relapse, illustrating the World Ender himself, along with Gem & Inu, all dressed for the season upon dramatic 2D wood shapes, colored like candy. Exhibiting new work by Elizabeth Grace, The World Ender is Back for Halloween explores the artist’s visions of anxiety, grief and goodness in existence–using their characters and cartoons and taking angles of story-telling and monster-slaying. As though these sparkledogs could slay dragons, or their old friends.
