Thank you to the 600 art lovers who visited Art Lab Fort Collins for First Friday Gallery Walk. The big night included art, music, and even a rocket bike. Josh Kerson from Runabout Cycles did a great job of curating the Art of the Bicycle 2010 show. The Fort Collins bike community came out in full force. We estimate over 1000 visitors in the 15 days the show was on display.

Local musicians and artists helped fill the space for the First Friday event, including:

  • Student photo show by Poudre High School sophomore, Jeanette Yanez
  • Student art by the T-Camp students, including one-of-a-kind plates to showcase the Old Town Fort Collins Great Plates promotion.
  • Speed Whiskers – a group of four local musicians who met through Art Lab, and now fills our space with beautiful music on a regular basis. Toolbox Creative’s own Tom Campbell, Matt Zoccalli, Rich Thornton and Greg Douras were fab.

I couldn’t be more proud. Fort Collins is truly an Art City, USA.
