IMPACT Dance Company presents the “Belief Project” Exhibition during the Friday night gallery walk on April 1st, 6-9pm, as well as April 2nd, 3-8pm and April 9th 3-6pm. This year IMPACT Dance visited 3 schools in Poudre School District. “The Belief Project” uses writing, visual art and movement to help students identify what is important to them and to give them a creative avenue to express their thoughts. Workshops are custumized to fit into each school’s curriculum, drawing upon essays that the students have written as a jumping off point for art and dance. The students artwork from Laurel Elementary, Beattie Elementary and Lesher IB World School will be on display in the ARTLab April 1-10th.

IMPACT Dance Company presents “Believe It!”, an innovative performance at the ARTLab in Ft. Collins featuring “new to our public†dances that explore our daily search for self through movement, text and video. IMPACT Dance will present a short performance that shares work from their events this season, in multiple performances, on Friday and Saturday, April 8th and 9th at 6:00, 7:15 and 8:30pm. In conjunction with the show, artwork from IMPACT’s “Belief Project†outreach to area schools will be on display from April 1st-10th. A video preview of the performance will be shown throughout the evening during the first Friday Gallery walk on Friday, April, 1st from 6-9pm.
