POSTER

Nikki Arnell will be displaying pieces of 3-D graphic design that explore how the form and presentation of a traditionally 2-D discipline affect the read of the viewer.

Niki has a decade of work  in art directing advertising materials for clients from Proctor & Gamble to Coors and has, in her words, ” an obsession with  a visual and/or verbal narrative.

View Niki Arnell’s unusual work in ” MASS-commandments of a new graphic design.”

Why does design have to be 2-D? Who is to say what kind of message it must convey, especially when hung on a wall for aesthetic consideration? Does the handmade imperfection connect better with the viewer than the sterile computer rendering?

Stop by the Art Lab to see the work, meet the artist. Then you decide.
