Ruth Cutcher and friends.  After several years of blissful living in Fort Collins, Ruth says goodbye to Northern Colorado with a special afternoon of music.

Ruth Cutcher is a local musician, teacher and owner of The Guitar Dojo, a Suzuki guitar school. Ms. Cutcher studied classical guitar at Metro State College of Denver and Music Therapy at Colorado State University.  On Sunday, October 25, Ruth and friends will play together to celebrate our accomplishments and share our music with the Art Lab community.

Elaine Badiere has been a Suzuki violin teacher for about thirty years. She taught with the Suzuki Plus program at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto and in various states of the US and has now been in Fort Collins for four years.

Kate Benessa started teaching private classical guitar lessons at the age of sixteen in Shelby, Montana.   Over twenty-five years later she’s still at it.  In the mean time she has managed to pick up a couple of Master’s degrees and has enjoyed a few stints teaching music appreciation.  In addition to raising a precocious and challenging girl child and starting Pizzeria La Collina with her husband, she continues to draw strength and inspiration from her first love, the classical guitar.Ruth Cutcher is a local musician, teacher and owner of The Guitar Dojo, a Suzuki guitar school. The Fort Collins Guitar Quartet (FCGQ) is a group of CSU guitar alumni that formed to play guitar ensemble music.  The group consists of Ruth Cutcher, Dustin Hawks, Garrett Holslag and Branden Sipes.  As professional teachers and performers we wish to foster a connection between the performer and audience.
