Weekly Actors Workshops with Tomas Herrera

Tomas Herrera is an accomplished acting coach, having worked with many professionals currently performing in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.  Born and raised in Colorado, Tomas began acting at the age of seven.  He has since appeared in numerous theatrical, television and film projects, including his own feature film comedy, Sign of the Times.

Tomas incorporates many techniques and methods into his workshops.  He believes, ultimately, an actor’s job is to serve the character. As a coach, Tomas delivers honest feedback and unique insight into that process.

Workshops are available to actors of any skill level and focuses on the development and application of audition skills, cold reading, scene study, emotional work, and goal setting.  In addition, Tomas offers a weekend-long short film workshop featuring a special guest director.  The finished project is screened for the public at The Lyric Cinema Cafe.

Weekly Workshop continues Tuesday nights 6:00-9:00 at Art Lab – 239 Linden St.
